# WY-ICARE Donor Template Administration

## Purpose
The donor reporting system supports configurable Word and PDF reports with organisation branding, optional secondary funder/partner branding, authorised signatory information, signature assets, ordered sections, narrative prompts and funder preparation profiles.

## Configuration hierarchy
1. **Funder profile** — identifies required/optional sections and preparation checks.
2. **Branding profile** — controls organisation name, colours, logos, signature and footer.
3. **Template configuration** — controls template type, selected section order and narrative prompts.
4. **Report snapshot** — stores the selected branding and funder requirements at generation time so later configuration changes do not alter historical reports.

## Funder-specific requirements
Funder profiles are configuration aids. They are not a substitute for the applicable signed agreement, current reporting template, grant conditions, safeguarding rules or official funder guidance. Reporting staff must verify requirements before submission.

## Branding assets
PNG and JPEG assets up to 5 MB can be uploaded by users with `ngo.donor_templates.manage`. The system returns a public asset path that can be assigned as the primary logo, secondary logo or signature asset.

## Signatures
The platform supports an image-based signature slot and signatory name/title. A signature should only be uploaded and used by an authorised person under WY-ICARE's internal approval rules. The platform does not infer or fabricate signatures.

## Data integrity
Generated reports use verified MEAL records. Raw field submissions are not automatically published into donor reports. Narrative sections may contain completion prompts until the programme/reporting team supplies the required text.

## Recommended approval workflow
Draft → Programme review → Finance reconciliation → MEAL assurance → Safeguarding/confidentiality review → Authorised approval → Submission → Archive.
